Good questions

What is a photo scavenger hunt?
A short list of photo prompts — "someone laughing so hard they are crying", "three generations in one frame" — given to guests so they take the candid shots a photographer cannot be everywhere for. It works because it replaces "take photos!" with something specific enough to act on.
How many prompts should each card have?
Six to twelve. Fewer than six and the game is over during the starter; more than twelve and people read the card, feel tired, and put it down.
Do guests need an app to play?
Not for the printed version — they shoot on their own camera roll. The catch is that you then have to collect the photos afterwards, which is the part that never quite happens. Running the hunt through GuestMade means each photo arrives as it is taken.
When should the cards go out?
Put them on the tables before guests sit down, so the hunt starts during the meal when people are seated and looking for something to do. At a wedding, that is the gap between the meal and the dancing — the exact window your photographer is usually off shooting portraits.
Can I write my own prompts?
Yes — anything you type is added to the front of the card and stays put when you shuffle the rest. The best prompts are the ones only your guests would understand.
Is it free to print?
Completely. Press Print and choose "Save as PDF" if you would rather send it to a print shop than run it off at home.
